About this Event
Sexual Assault Awareness Month is an annual Irvine Valley College (IVC) collaboration that takes place the week of April 22-26, 2024, to raise awareness about Sexual Assault, education, prevention, information, and resources for our students and community.
Mental Health Day of Education and Outreach will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 10-1 pm. The focus of this event is on prevention however, the staggering numbers indicate so many students may have already witnessed or been involved in a Sexual Assault matter therefore, community resources will be provided to give students education, resources, and referrals.
IVC's goal is to bring as many community resources to our campus that offer free to low-cost mental health services and other educational tools needed to prevent and educate our students in a healthy and informed manner.
