At Partners4Wellness, we provide a variety of youth education programs and activities to raise awareness about substance use prevention, media literacy, and healthy decision-making. These programs are designed to engage students and equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed choices.
Our staff delivers age-appropriate presentations to 4th-12th grade students using the Too Good For Drugs (TGFD) curriculum. This 10-session program is federally recognized and evidence-based, blending alcohol and drug prevention with life skills training.
The curriculum aligns with several key frameworks, including:
By integrating these frameworks, TGFD promotes positive behaviors and helps youth develop the skills needed to avoid substance use while reinforcing good decision-making and social responsibility.
Our team also conducts in-person, single-session presentations on the risks associated with alcohol, marijuana, inhalants, prescription drugs, and fentanyl. These sessions equip students with refusal strategies and introduce local community resources for further support.
In addition to substance abuse education, our staff provides single-session, in-person presentations on media literacy. Students learn to think critically about media messages and advertisements, empowering them to recognize and question potentially harmful influences.
We offer presentations to parents focused on strategies to help keep their children alcohol and drug free. The goal is to empower parents with knowledge and practical tools, enabling them to make a positive difference in their kids’ lives.
Our presentations cover key topics, including:
Alcohol and Drug Prevention: Understanding the risks and signs of substance use/misuse and abuse.
Marijuana and Fentanyl Awareness: Educating parents on emerging threats like marijuana use and fentanyl exposure and use.
