Outreach Coordinator

Position: Outreach Coordinator
Availability: Until Filled / Full Time / E.O.E.
Starting Salary: $42,000 - $45,000/ Year

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, develop and conduct primary prevention outreach and education to multiple demographics. 
  • Coordinate with local agencies to implement various related programs and services. 
  • Participate in local and state-wide meetings and trainings. 
  • Conduct presentations and health education workshops to emerging populations impacted by health inequities. 
  • Facilitate and promote community engagement services and programs that improve health outcomes for vulnerable populations. 
  • Organize health promotion events and engagements.
  • Support linking community members to resources. 
  • Assist in writing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.  
  • Participate in grant writing opportunities when needed. 
  • Effectively network with other agencies and represent Partners4Wellness in the community. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Science or related field. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills. 
  • Good Public Speaking skills with the ability to engage audience. 
  • Knowledgeable about community resources. 
  • Prior experience in community outreach, referral and linkage to services. 
  • Experience in public health messaging and health promotion. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Canva. 

OTHER:

  • Always maintains professional behavior and appearance. 
  • Attend community meetings and trainings as requested. 
  • Assist with other duties as assigned on a regular or occasional basis, which may include weekends or evenings. 
  • Maintain and/or build strong relationships with community partners. 
  • Create and develop digital and social media materials. 
  • Work independently, as well as a team member and be self-motivated. 
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to work throughout Orange County.
  • Some travel for training is required.

Project Coordinator

Position: Project Coordinator

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish, supervise, support, and manage all aspects of the Youth Mental Health department 
  • Recruit and maintain a collection of over 400 local resources in the Mental Health Resource Inventory for the “Mental Health Concierge” Second Responder Model 
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for grant contract liaisons at the county and state levels 
  • Coordinate meetings with Third Party Administrators (TPAs) at county and state levels for grant implementation 
  • Participate in grant writing opportunities when needed.
  • Effectively network with other agencies and represent Partners4Wellness in the community.
  • Research and develop culturally-sensitive and trauma-informed health curricula for various populations 
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data collected from the project using various methods 
  • Create and participate in conference presentations on various health topics

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Science or related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Good Public Speaking skills with the ability to engage audience.

Summary of Position

The position, working with and reporting to the CEO, will oversee the operations of the organization in connection with financial matters that include operating statements, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, balance sheets, general ledger, human resources, and coordination of the financial activities of the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, Controlling, Payroll)

  • Manage bi-weekly payroll process, and coordinate with department managers to ensure accuracy.
  • Process data entry tasks into multiple systems as needed and according to contract deadlines.
  • Maintain financial records for governmental grants and process monthly reimbursement reports.
  • Operate financial accounting systems for cash flow management, coordinate AP/AR billings, code and process GL accounts, payroll, bank reconciliations and investment accounts.
  • Utilize Intuit/QuickBooks desktop version to manage accounting systems and procedures. 
  • Manage employee onboarding, insurance, benefits, and other human resources as needed.
  • Collaborate with department managers and staff to coordinate monthly billings.
  • Manage overall office administration and assist in developing and revising office policies.
  • Manage daily cash flow, develop, and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the CEO and Board of Directors in accordance with GAAP.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports, and maintain accurate account balances. 
  • Serves as part of the agency’s leadership team in developing gratifying office environments. 

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, Business, or related field (Preferred)
  • Proficient in Intuit, QuickBooks, Excel (Required)
  • Strong bookkeeping background, with quality communication skills to fit non-profit values

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of previous bookkeeping, accounting, human resources, payroll, finance (Preferred)
  • Nonprofit financial experience (Preferred)
  • Starting Annual Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 (Based on Experience)

  • Strong understanding and interest in alcohol, drug and tobacco-free health for youth.
  • Assist in writing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. 
  • Participate in grant writing opportunities when needed.
  • Effectively network with other agencies and represent Partners4Wellness in the community.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Science or related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
