Youth Mental Health

Youth Mental Health

Partners4Wellness provides mental health services to youth aged 12-18 in Orange County. Youth are typically less likely than any other age group to access mental health services because of poor access to appropriate services or the stigma associated with mental illness and treatment. Effective early management is key to preventing the progress of mental disorders. Social isolation, poor functioning, and even death can be prevented through early intervention. That’s where we come in. Youth Mental Health Safety Training teaches adults working with youth how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health challenges and substance abuse. Partners4Wellness staff trains adults who work with youth utilizing our curriculum. Once trained, participants are able to observe student behavior through a mental health lens, and refer students to Partners4Wellness trained coaches/therapists/ counselors for professional support and assistance.
